Been a customer for over 20 years and had 5 cats looked after by the old owner Nick Penrose. Fast forward to today and a totally different ethos emerges, to busy to care about am animal in distress too indifferent to fit a final appointment in to ease suffering. Zero help provided to find an alternative.care giver..... The old partner would be fuming..... Money driven practices shame on you.😡

I have been going to Penrose for a while now, all the staff are absolutely lovely, the vets are very reassuring and take the time to answer all questions you may have, same as the receptionist staff. I have been to many vets, and Penrose is definitely the only one I would recommend going to. Never had a bad experience, and I will continue to come here many years from now.

Update from yesterday 13 June 25. One very poorly cat was seen by the vet and great help as usual. Our cat has perked up but things weren't great yesterday. So many thanks to the vet. But I was really disappointed when I paid at reception over £80 to the girl with the glasses. She never once said please or thank you or a goodbye. Just shocking. All very basic customer care. Please get her some extra training as next time I won't keep quiet. ------------------------------------------------------ Staff have always been great looking after our fur kids. Even in the sad times they are so caring and considerate. Especially Chris and Georgia is amazing. She goes out of her way to explain all the options and has given one of our cats a lot of extra years with ongoing thyroid treatment. Thanks so much Tim & Lorraine x

Called in a panic in the morning regarding my cat meow and a facial injury and was seen an hour later, The receptionist was lovely on the phone even after explaining I had little funds available,lovely and clean when we arrived and plenty of parking. The vet was very thorough with checking meow and explained throughout what she was doing and looking for, it was a calm and reassuring experience,meow laid happily being checked out. being a socially anxious person myself I felt confident to ask questions,Advice given and what too look out for at home was clear.Meow is now healed and happy and I'm confident he received the best care possible,I was also happy with the bill which turned out surprisingly in my budget. 5 star all round :-) *meow no longer scared of his carrier since his experience at penrose

I have been using Penrose and Partners since 2006. The service is fantastic and the pricing has always been fair. The surgery has joined a corporation recently (as many vets’ practices have done) but this has had no detrimental effect on the service received. Very happy to recommend the vets to anybody.
